Establishing Residency in Texas:

‭If you have just moved to Texas, learn about the easiest way you can establish residency through obtaining a Texas Driver’s License or other form of State ID. Note that you must surrender an ID from another state or at least have lived in Texas for 30 days upon application. You can also still register to vote without a state ID, but we recommend you put your phone number on the voter registration form in case the clerk has any questions or requires additional documentation.

Furthermore, Texas Voter Registration requirements also requires you to register to vote in the county in which you reside and vote, so make sure you keep this in mind when going through the ID process. You can easily update this online too if you are already a Texas resident. Reminder: Contact us if you have any questions or encounter any difficulties – we can help.
